This school year we are going to work on Discoveries and Great Inventions. This term we'll research and study about Prehistoric Art.

Humans have communicated in one way or another through history. One way we communicate is by writing symbols or drawing pictures, Rock art is an example of how prehistoric people communicated and recorded their lives. There are two different types of Rock art:

Petroglyphs: Design carved into rock or other surface.



Pictographs: Painted or drawn on the surface of the rock.
